Layers
- HideOn / Off
- Temporarily hides a layer from the canvas and the export without deleting it; toggle Show to bring it back.
- LockOn / Off
- Locks a layer so it can't be moved or edited by accident while you work on other elements; Unlock to edit again.
- Bring forwardOne-click
- Moves the layer one step up the stack so it sits in front of the layer above it.
- Send backwardOne-click
- Moves the layer one step down the stack so other elements can overlap it.
Selected object
- FillColor picker
- Color of the selected shape or text (shown as Color for lines, outlined frames and stroke icons); picking a color clears any gradient fill.
- ColorsColor picker
- One swatch per color of a multi-color graphic so each part can be recolored independently, with a Reset colors button to restore the original palette.
- FiltersOne-click
- Opens the same instant Looks, sliders and toggles as the Adjust tab right on the floating toolbar for the selected photo.
- CropDraw on image
- Enters crop mode on the selected photo: drag the box or its eight handles over a rule-of-thirds grid, then Apply Crop to keep just that region. Available while the image isn't rotated.

If you want the original colors back, click the reset (circular arrow) button next to the swatches to restore every layer to how it looked when inserted.
featuresThe editor saves a recovery copy in this browser as you work. When signed in, it also syncs your editable design to your private account. Wait for 'Saved to your account' before closing the tab or switching devices. Offline changes need to reconnect and finish syncing first; changes made immediately before closing can be lost. featuresActive account uploads and designs have no automatic expiration. A storage limit or plan downgrade does not delete existing work, but can stop new saves that need more space. Trash items can be restored for 30 days. Removing a library image does not break designs that still use it. Account deletion removes the workspace too. Ordinary temporary tool results still follow the separate 24-hour policy.
technicalA newer cloud save is not silently overwritten. The editor shows a conflict and lets you save your local changes as a separate design or open the latest account version. When a design is synced, Version history also offers the five previous saves for recovery. This recovery history is not an independent backup.
technicalAlmost always one of three things. The file is over the 11 MB free upload limit — Premium takes 50 MB and Pro 120 MB. The format is not one this tool accepts, so check the list shown on the upload panel. Or the file is not really the format its name says: renaming a file does not change what is inside it, and that is the reason a valid-looking image gets refused.
troubleshootingCropping, rotating, resizing and framing keep your original pixels — quality loss almost always comes from somewhere else. The two usual causes are enlarging a small image past the resolution it actually has, and re-saving a JPG over and over, because each save throws away a little more. Start from the largest original you still have, and export PNG when the image contains text, screenshots or flat color.
