Max spot size sets the largest mark the tool will remove, so raise it to clear big spots or lower it to touch only tiny ones. Feature protection sets the safety margin around eyes, eyebrows, lips and nose so those are never edited — raise it to Maximum if any facial feature looks touched.

Eyes, eyebrows, lips and nose are always protected automatically, and you can widen that guard with the Feature protection slider. If any feature still looks altered, slide Feature protection up to Maximum and lower the overall strength — the tool will then clear only clearly-defined skin blemishes and leave every facial feature crisp.

Raise the Max spot size slider so the tool is allowed to heal bigger marks, then increase Heal intensity for a fuller repair. Keep strength moderate so surrounding skin texture stays realistic. For very large areas, run the photo a second time — each pass blends the healed region a little further.
