Everything you can fine-tune before you download — each control explained, so you know exactly what it does.

Blend

Blend mode

Dropdown

NormalMultiplyScreenOverlayDarkenLightenColor dodgeColor burnHard lightSoft lightDifferenceExclusionHueSaturationColorLuminosity

Chooses how the overlay's colors combine with the base photo: Multiply darkens, Screen lightens, Overlay boosts contrast, while Normal simply places the image on top.

Blend Percentage

Slider

Range: 10–100% · Default: 85%

Sets the overlay's opacity from subtle to strong; lower it for a see-through watermark, keep it near 100% for a bold, solid sticker or logo.

Position & Size

X Position

Number input

Horizontal placement of the overlay in pixels from the base image's left edge, from 0 up to the base image width; you can also drag the overlay in the preview.

Y Position

Number input

Vertical placement of the overlay in pixels from the base image's top edge, from 0 up to the base image height, for pixel-perfect alignment instead of dragging.

Width

Number input

Exact overlay width in pixels, from 20 px up to the full base image width; also adjustable by dragging the corner and edge handles or pinching on touchscreens.

Height

Number input

Exact overlay height in pixels, from 20 px up to the full base image height, letting you size a logo or watermark precisely instead of eyeballing it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Upload your base photo, then add a PNG overlay with transparency. Position and resize it to fit. This is perfect for adding logos, stickers, or watermark badges. Compositing runs on our secure servers and exports a high-quality file that's ready for social or web use.

usage

Yes. Adjust opacity for subtle branding, reorder layers to manage foreground and background, and scale precisely to align edges. These controls help you build polished compositions for ads, YouTube thumbnails, and product mockups without advanced design skills.

features

Use transparent PNGs or SVGs for overlays, and JPG or PNG for the background photo. Transparent assets ensure clean edges for logos and icons. Our export produces a compatible JPEG that looks crisp on mobile and desktop while keeping file sizes reasonable.

technical

No. Overlays are applied non-destructively on top of your base image. The underlying pixels remain intact, and the final export keeps your original resolution, which is essential for brand assets, marketing visuals, and ecommerce images that demand clarity.

quality

Yes. The overlay happens safely, we delete processed data automatically after sometime. There are no watermarks in the download, making it a safe option for client projects, influencer collaborations, and promo graphics where confidentiality matters.

privacy

Add a logo to lifestyle photos, place product shots on branded backgrounds, create sale stickers for ads, or watermark photography before sharing. Overlaying images helps maintain consistent branding and improves click-through rates by making visuals instantly recognizable.

tips

Upload a base photo, add the second image on top, then drag, resize and position it where you want. Use the blend slider to control how transparent the top layer is - lower it for a soft, see-through composite or keep it solid for a clean paste. Export a single combined JPG when you are done.

usage

The Blend mode dropdown offers 16 real compositing modes: Multiply darkens by combining colors (good for shadows and grunge textures), Screen lightens the result (good for light leaks and glows), Overlay boosts contrast, and modes like Hue, Saturation and Color transfer only that specific color property from the overlay onto the base image. Try a few on the same pair of images — each produces a visually distinct composite.

features

Open the Position & Size panel and type exact values into the X Position and Y Position fields (measured in pixels from the top-left of the base image), plus Width and Height for the overlay's exact size. This is more precise than dragging when you need pixel-perfect placement, for example aligning a logo to the same corner across a batch of similarly-sized photos.

usage

For a watermark that shouldn't distract from the photo, use Normal blend mode with Blend Percentage lowered to around 30–50% so the logo stays visible but see-through. For a bold sticker or badge meant to stand out, keep Normal mode near 90–100% opacity, or try Multiply/Soft Light at 60–80% on textured backgrounds to let the base image's tones show through naturally.

tips

Yes — on a touchscreen, place two fingers on the overlay and pinch to resize it proportionally around the pinch midpoint, in addition to dragging the eight corner and edge handles or typing exact Width and Height values in the Position & Size panel. This makes precise placement possible even without a mouse.

usage

The overlay can be resized down to 20×20 pixels at minimum, and up to the full width and height of your base image at maximum. The resize handles, the pinch gesture, and the numeric Width/Height fields are all clamped to this range automatically, so you can't drag or type the overlay outside the base photo's bounds.

technical

The interactive canvas is a fast, simplified preview: it only simulates the Blend Percentage as a plain opacity fade while you drag and resize, regardless of which Blend mode is selected in the dropdown. The actual Multiply, Screen, Hue and other compositing math is computed server-side and only shows up once you click through to process and download the image, so don't judge a blend mode by the live preview — check the processed result instead.
