How live counting works
Open this page on your phone and allow camera access — no app install needed.
Point the rear camera at the items and hold steady; the AI counts a frame every few seconds.
Read the live total and the dot on each counted item; adjust sensitivity for smaller or larger items.
Why teams count with the live camera
Faster than tally counting
A shelf that takes minutes to count by hand reads out in seconds — and recounts are one glance away.
Dot-verified accuracy
Every counted item gets a dot on screen, so you can trust the number instead of guessing what the AI saw.
Nothing stored, ever
Live frames are processed in memory and discarded. No gallery clutter, no uploads to manage, no privacy worries.
Built for real stock work
• Shop stock-takes: packets, boxes and bottles on shelves
• Warehouse spot checks and goods-in verification
• Theft and shrinkage checks — recount in seconds, any time
• Events and production lines: trays of parts, kits or samples

Open the page on your phone, allow camera access and point the rear camera at the items. Every few seconds a frame is analyzed by the same AI similar-item engine as the Object Counter, and the on-screen total and item markers refresh. No app install is needed — it runs in the mobile browser.
usageEach live frame runs a full AI inference on dedicated hardware — a single session processes dozens of frames. The one-shot photo Object Counter remains free; continuous live counting is included with Premium.
pricingNo. Live frames are analyzed in memory and immediately discarded — nothing is saved to your gallery or to our servers.
privacyPiles or shelves of one kind of item: retail packets, boxes, bottles, toys, produce, parts and similar stock. Hold the camera steady over the items for a few seconds for the most stable count.
qualityDrag the Detection sensitivity slider toward "Smaller items" when counting fine parts, pills or small produce that the default setting might merge together, or toward "Larger items" when boxes or bulky products are being split into false extra counts. The slider takes effect on the very next frame, so you can tune it live while watching the count update.
featuresEvery live session automatically ends after 10 minutes to protect the shared GPU and stop an idle phone from occupying processing capacity in the background. This limit is fixed and cannot be changed from the sensitivity slider or any other control, so when it triggers you'll see a 'session paused' notice over the viewfinder. Press Start camera again to immediately begin a fresh 10-minute session and keep counting a longer job in back-to-back stretches.
technicalHow Live Object Counter helps you get it done
Real problems it solves every day — for businesses, creators, and everyday tasks. Find the use case that fits you and start in seconds.
Real-Time Retail Shelf Audits
Point the rear camera down a shelf and read a live count instead of tallying by hand — nudge Detection sensitivity toward 'Smaller items' for tightly packed products like cosmetics or spice jars.
Warehouse Pallet & Carton Verification
Dial sensitivity toward 'Larger items' to get an accurate live count of stacked cartons or pallets during goods-in checks, catching shortages before a delivery is signed for.
Production-Line Small-Parts Verification
Hold the camera over a tray of components on a packing line and tune sensitivity toward 'Smaller items' for screws, washers or beads, catching a miscount before the box is sealed.
Confidential High-Value Inventory Audits
Pharmacies, jewelers and cash-handling businesses can live-count regulated or high-value stock without creating photo records to secure or leak, since every frame is analyzed in memory and discarded instantly rather than saved to a device or server.
