Distinct, separated and fully visible items with a clear background. For dense, touching or mixed piles, use the photo counter, enter the item name, and review the automatic result.

Type the item you want counted, such as bottles, pills or boxes, before you start the camera. Every frame is counted for that item. When a shelf holds several kinds of product, name the one you need. You can change the name while the camera runs, and the next frame is counted for the new item.

Every live session automatically ends after 10 minutes so an idle phone does not continue using live-processing capacity in the background. This limit is fixed and cannot be changed from any control, so when it triggers you'll see a 'session paused' notice over the viewfinder. Press Start camera again to immediately begin a fresh 10-minute session and keep counting a longer job in back-to-back stretches.

Live Object Counter does not take a file. It works from your live camera view, once you allow camera access in the browser. If nothing is generated, check that the fields on the page are filled in and, where a link is needed, that the whole link was pasted.

Check the input first: a sharp, well-lit original that has not been through a messaging app gives the best result. Then review the settings on the page, change one at a time and run it again — nothing is locked in until you download.
