Similar items counts dense piles of one repeated product and works with the example markers you place. Detect objects finds distinct, separated things and draws a box around each. Start on Auto, and switch to Similar items for tightly-packed or touching objects, or Detect objects when items are clearly spaced apart.

Three controls tune the count. Raise or lower Sensitivity so faint or overlapping items are caught without counting noise. Use Ignore small detections to drop specks, shadows or background clutter that are being counted by mistake. Mark 1–3 example items so the tool counts exactly your product. Finally switch the Result overlay to dots or heatmap to see where each count came from and verify the total by eye.
