- No. It preserves the visible image and adds recognized text. Choose Table Image to Excel or CSV when you need rows and columns for calculation or import.
- Will copying a table from the searchable PDF preserve every column?
- Not necessarily. Text selection order may differ from the visual grid, especially with merged headings. Use a structured table export for cell-based work.
- How should a wide table be laid out in the PDF?
- Try landscape orientation or image-fit pages and review the text size. A full-width table can become difficult to read when reduced to portrait paper.
- What happens if OCR cannot read one of my table pages?
- Unrecognized pages can remain as visible image-only content, and the tool reports recognition failures. Check search behavior on the exported pages.
