- Will an inventory PDF calculate stock totals?
- No. It preserves sheet images and adds recognized text. Export to Excel or CSV when you need reviewed numeric rows for calculations.
- Are handwritten SKUs searchable in the finished PDF?
- Only successfully recognized writing becomes searchable. Similar characters such as O and 0 need checking, especially on handwritten sheets.
- Does OCR remove signatures or crossed-out quantities?
- The visible sheet image remains the reference content. OCR adds a text layer; it does not clean up or resolve handwritten corrections for you.
- Can this record replace a stock-count approval process?
- No. A PDF organizes the provided sheets. Review, reconciliation and approval of the counts still belong to your inventory process.
