Get selectable words from an image-only attachment
Extract words from a PNG without converting the image to another format. Sharp source lettering helps, but small labels and symbols still need checking before you reuse the text in a document, message or search.
Text distributed in PNG attachments
Recover a readable text copy from an image-only notice while retaining the source for checking exact wording.
Small interface-label references
Copy labels from a saved PNG for documentation, verifying punctuation and capitalization before using them as instructions.
Read the original PNG and verify its smallest characters
- Upload a full-size PNG with readable lettering and contrast.
- Extract and compare small symbols, names and line order with the image.
- Edit misread words and save or copy the checked text.
Tiny labels, transparent backgrounds and table outputs
- Does PNG to text use hidden text stored inside the image?
- The conversion recognizes visible pixels. It does not recover the source document or assume that the PNG contains an embedded text layer.
- Why are tiny PNG labels misread even without compression?
- Lossless storage preserves the available pixels, but very small letters may still lack enough detail. Use a larger original capture if possible.
- Can I extract text from a transparent PNG?
- Recognition needs clear contrast. If the lettering is hard to see against the preview background, prepare a contrasting copy before extraction.
- Should a table PNG be exported as text or CSV?
- Choose text when you need the words. Choose PNG to CSV or Excel when keeping values in reviewed rows and columns matters.
