Tiny labels, costly typos
A zero mistaken for an O can break a warranty lookup, service request, or insurance schedule.

Stop crouching beside machines with a clipboard, mistyping 18-character serial numbers, and cleaning the same spreadsheet twice. Photograph each label; Pixoate builds the rows for you.
Works best with sharp, straight-on label photos. Review every value before relying on the register.
Choose up to 25 label photos. Pixoate creates one editable row per file.
The real problem
The information already exists on the equipment. The expensive part is sending someone around to decipher it, type it, and later discover a transposed character.
A zero mistaken for an O can break a warranty lookup, service request, or insurance schedule.
Teams take evidence photos, then still have to open every image and build the spreadsheet by hand.
When updating the list is painful, new equipment never makes it into the source of truth.
How Pixoate helps
Pixoate reads the printed label, organizes the fields into rows, shows the OCR confidence, and keeps every value editable. Export the result or save it to your account—without storing the source photo as a permanent vault.
Capture one equipment plate or sticker per image, close enough that every character is visible.
Correct uncertain serials, models, manufacturers, dates, locations, or asset tags in the table.
Download CSV for Excel, accounting, CMMS, insurance, or save the editable records in Pixoate.
Catalog HVAC, appliances, pumps, panels, and building equipment during a walk-through.
Capture the exact model and serial before ordering parts or opening a warranty case.
Build an equipment schedule from the labels already attached to each asset.
Yes. It asks the OCR extractor for manufacturer, model number, serial number, asset tag, barcode text, manufacture date, and location, then places the results in separate editable columns.
The scanner extracts printed barcode text when it is visible and can use the browser barcode detector where supported. Because browser support and label quality vary, always compare the result with the label.
Use a sharp, well-lit, straight-on photo with the label filling most of the frame. Avoid glare, motion blur, steep angles, and several labels in one image.
Yes. Every extracted cell is editable before export or saving. Low-confidence values are visibly marked for extra review.
Open it in Excel or Google Sheets, or import it into inventory, CMMS, maintenance, insurance, and accounting systems that accept CSV.
No OCR system is error-free. Pixoate speeds up transcription and highlights uncertainty, but the user must verify critical identifiers against the physical label.
