Some utilities run locally in your browser; server-processed files are encrypted in transit and removed under our Security policy, subject to the shared-link and My Work periods in our Security policy.

No. Pixoate runs in your web browser without an installation or plugin. Files that require server processing are sent over encrypted HTTPS and removed under our Security policy; shared links and My Work previews follow the periods in our Security policy.

Core tools are free to use. AI, OCR and conversions have daily limits on Free. Premium subscriptions remove these daily caps and add batch processing.

Temporary tool results are processed securely and are not permanent storage. Saved Photo Editor uploads and editable designs remain in your private account. They are temporarily cached for processing and removed under our Security policy — unless you explicitly share a result: new public links have no automatic expiration while the sharing service remains available, and end when removed or when their owning account is deleted; anyone with the link can open it, and, when you are signed in, your account keeps a small preview image and the details of each result for 7 days on the free plan or 180 days on Premium — never a copy of your file, and you can delete it whenever you like, and, if you rate a result thumbs-down and leave the investigate box ticked, that image and its result stay for up to 30 days for our team to debug, or save Photo Editor uploads and editable designs to your private account, where active saved work has no automatic expiration.

Files are encrypted in transit and handled according to the retention periods in our Security policy. Pixoate does not sell uploaded content or use it to train models.

No. Your uploads and edits are private to you, and we never share user content. The only way someone else can see a result is if you create a share link for it yourself: that link is public — unguessable, but anyone who has it can open the result — and it stays live without automatic expiration while Pixoate provides the sharing service.
