No. Removing the background always uses the same fit-and-compose pipeline as maintain aspect ratio, regardless of whether that checkbox is on — your cut-out subject is placed on the chosen background at its natural proportions, never stretched. Turning off maintain aspect ratio only stretches the photo to fill the target size when AI background removal is not active.

When Background is set to Blur, a Blur intensity slider (5-50) appears below it — lower values keep more visible texture in the softened backdrop, while higher values give a smoother, more abstract blur. The slider only applies to the Blur background type; switching to Color, Gradient, Preset or Image hides it since those fills don't use blur.
