Frequently Asked Questions

Upload your image and use the rotate controls to adjust the angle. This online image rotator preserves quality and helps create images for social media, websites, and print with precise orientation. Supports JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, SVG formats.

usage

Yes. Enter the desired angle in degrees to rotate the image. This is useful for creating images that fit specific layouts or orientations.

features

We support JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and TIFF formats. The output format will be the same as the input format, preserving quality and transparency.

technical

No. Rotating doesn't alter the quality of the image. It simply changes the orientation while maintaining the original resolution.

quality

Yes. Use the rotate controls to adjust the image to the desired orientation. This is useful for creating high-resolution images for printing.

features

Yes. Rotating happens on our secure servers; uploads are encrypted in transit and removed under our Security policy. Downloads have no watermark.

privacy

Rotating turns the whole image around its centre by 90°, 180° or 270°. To mirror an image or flip it horizontally or vertically — for example to fix a reversed selfie or mirror text — use the dedicated Flip / Mirror Image tool instead.

features

Drag the Rotation Angle slider, which moves freely from -180° to 180°, to nudge a crooked horizon back to level without snapping to a full quarter-turn. For pixel-precise straightening use the −1° and +1° buttons beneath the slider to fine-tune one degree at a time, and tap Reset to return to 0° if you overshoot.

usage

Yes — Batch mode applies one rotation angle to up to 60 photos on Premium or 200 on Pro, then packages the results into one ZIP.

features

Use the four quick-angle buttons under the slider — No rotation, Clockwise (90°), Upside down (180°) and Counter-clockwise (-90°) — for one-tap exact turns instead of trying to land precisely on a slider value. They're ideal for the common case of a sideways phone photo, while the slider is better reserved for fine straightening.

tips

For sideways shots, tap a quick-angle preset (90°, 180° or -90°) for an instant exact turn; for slightly crooked horizons, use the fine slider with the ±1° nudge buttons instead. If you have many photos needing the *same* correction — for example, a batch of scans all rotated 90° the wrong way — switch to Batch mode, set that one angle, and download them all as a ZIP in one pass rather than fixing each individually.

tips

Switch from Single image to Batch, then add up to 60 photos on Premium or 200 on Pro. Set the angle once; every queued image receives that rotation and downloads in one ZIP.

features

Drag the rotation angle slider, which runs from -180° to 180° with a live degree readout above it, to dial in any custom tilt — useful for leveling a crooked horizon rather than snapping to a hard 90°/180° turn. Use the -1°/+1° nudge buttons beneath the slider for pixel-precise adjustments the slider itself can't hit reliably, and tap Reset at any time to snap the angle back to 0°.

features

Yes — besides the 90, 180 and 270 degree buttons, a straighten slider rotates a picture by any angle from -180 to 180 degrees. It is the easy fix for a tilted horizon or a slightly crooked scan: nudge it a few degrees, check the live preview, then download. The corners are filled in white so the whole photo stays visible.

features

Yes, on Premium — batch mode uploads the whole set, rotates every image by the same angle and delivers them together as a ZIP. It is the fast way to fix a folder of sideways photos from a phone or camera without rotating each JPG one at a time.

features

Yes — Pixoate supports batch and bulk processing. Switch to Batch mode, add up to 60 images on Premium or 200 on Pro, set your options once, and every image is processed with the same settings before you download a single ZIP. Bulk processing is a Premium feature; the output uses the same quality and settings as single mode.

features

Yes — with bulk processing you configure the settings a single time and they apply to every item in the batch — up to 60 images on Premium or 200 on Pro. There is no need to repeat the setup per item, and Temporary uploaded and generated files are processed securely and deleted automatically.

usage

Almost always one of three things. The file is over the 11 MB free upload limit — Premium takes 50 MB and Pro 120 MB. The format is not one this tool accepts, so check the list shown on the upload panel. Or the file is not really the format its name says: renaming a file does not change what is inside it, and that is the reason a valid-looking image gets refused.

troubleshooting

Cropping, rotating, resizing and framing keep your original pixels — quality loss almost always comes from somewhere else. The two usual causes are enlarging a small image past the resolution it actually has, and re-saving a JPG over and over, because each save throws away a little more. Start from the largest original you still have, and export PNG when the image contains text, screenshots or flat color.

troubleshooting

Rotate Image supports free standard use within the published processing allowances. Free downloads are clean — no watermark. No signup is required for standard tool use. Photo effects and AI edits have a web-size limit on Free, with the original-resolution result available through Premium or one credit. Crop, resize, rotate, compress and convert stay full size. Premium supports batches of up to 60 files, with the applicable plan limits shown before processing.

pricing

No — Rotate Image runs in the browser on desktop and phone. There is nothing to install, no trial to start, and no license to buy before you can see whether it does what you need. Try it on the file you are actually stuck with rather than a sample.
