Privacy Policy

Account Information

You can use most of our tools without an account. When you choose to create an account, we collect the information you provide — your first and last name, your email address, and a password, which is stored only in securely hashed form. If you contact us or submit feedback, we also keep that correspondence so we can respond.

Images and Files

A number of text and developer utilities process entirely in your browser — the JSON, HTML and Markdown formatters, the hash, Base64, JWT and URL tools, the case and word-count tools, the diff checker, color picker, password and lorem-ipsum generators, and the QR generator. When a signed-out visitor deliberately requests a file download, a temporary copy of only the finished export may be stored so the result survives authentication; it expires automatically. Tools that require server-side processing send files securely over HTTPS and automatically delete them within 24 hours — unless you explicitly share a result, which keeps it at a public link anyone who has it can open for up to 30 days. Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. We receive only the limited details needed to manage your subscription — such as your selected plan, billing status, and a reference token. We never receive or store your full payment-card number; that information is provided directly to and handled by Paddle in accordance with their privacy policy and industry payment-card security standards.

Usage Information

We may collect basic usage information such as:

• Pages visited on our website
• Browser type and version
• Device information
• IP address (for security purposes)

Secure Data Processing

Files that require server-side processing are handled securely over HTTPS and are automatically deleted within 24 hours — unless you explicitly share a result, which keeps it at a public link anyone who has it can open for up to 30 days, and, when you are signed in, your account keeps a small preview image and the details of each result for 7 days on the free plan or 180 days on Premium — never a copy of your file, and you can delete it whenever you like. Apart from that, we do not retain your uploaded files, and we do not have access to your images once processing is complete. We never sell your data or share your files with third parties, and we never use them to train models.

Optional Accounts and Account Deletion

An account is only required for features such as saved work and paid subscriptions; the core tools remain usable without one. You can access or correct your account information at any time from your account settings, and you can delete your account yourself from your settings or by asking us through our contact form.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account, we remove your account profile and access credentials, your saved work history — the small preview images and job details behind My Work — and any feedback you sent us, and any active subscription is cancelled. Certain limited information may be retained for a period where necessary to prevent fraud, detect abuse (including repeated account creation to obtain promotional benefits), comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms. This retained information is restricted to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes and is retained only for as long as required, after which it is deleted or anonymized. If you later create a new account with the same email address, we may link it to your previous usage history so that free allowances and promotional benefits continue rather than reset.

Temporary Data Storage

Files needed for server processing are stored temporarily and automatically deleted within 24 hours. Anonymous results preserved through sign-in use a much shorter temporary window and expire automatically — unless you explicitly share a result, which keeps it at a public link anyone who has it can open for up to 30 days, and, when you are signed in, your account keeps a small preview image and the details of each result for 7 days on the free plan or 180 days on Premium — never a copy of your file, and you can delete it whenever you like. We do not store them for any other purpose, and we never sell them or your personal data to anyone.

Results You Choose to Share

Sharing a result is the only thing that ever makes it public, and it only happens when you ask for it. If you create a share link, we keep that result — and, where the shared page shows a before/after, the photo you started from — for up to 30 days instead of 24 hours, then delete it automatically. A share link is public: the address is unguessable, but it is not password-protected and does not require signing in, so anyone who has the link can open the result. The shared page is marked noindex, which instructs search engines not to include it in search results. Nothing is ever published unless you create the link yourself. To take a link down before it expires, open the result and choose “Remove link” — you can revoke your own share link at any time, and the page stops opening for everyone who has it.

Your Work History (“My Work”)

If you are signed in, we also keep a short history of the results you make, so “My Work” still has them after a reload or on another device. An entry is a small preview image — at most 32 KB — plus the details of the job, such as the tool you used and the file name. It is never a copy of the file you uploaded, and it does not keep the processed file alive: that still deletes itself on the normal 24-hour schedule, after which the preview remains as a record but the result can no longer be opened. How far back the history reaches depends on your plan — 7 days on the free plan, 180 days on Premium — and each entry deletes itself automatically at the end of that window. You can remove a single entry or clear the whole list from My Work at any time, and deleting your account erases the history with it. Signed out, none of this happens: the recent-work list on a signed-out device is stored in that browser only and is never sent to us.
