- Does a searchable statement PDF authenticate the statement?
- No. Converting images or adding OCR does not verify their origin, completeness or financial accuracy.
- Can I search for transaction amounts after conversion?
- Recognized amounts may be searchable, but punctuation and spacing can vary. Check the visible statement whenever a financial value matters.
- Should I choose statement PDF, Excel or CSV?
- Choose PDF to retain page appearance and browse recognized text. Choose Excel for worksheet review or CSV for a separately validated transaction import.
