If a colleague’s HEIC photos will not open in your workflow, convert copies to JPG. Keep the original captures. Review orientation and exposure in the exported file before moving to resizing; renaming the file extension does not convert its contents.

Agree the dimensions with the agency’s CRM or upload provider. Rightmove’s 2021 new-homes guide gives historical image guidance, but it should not be treated as a current universal feed contract. Preserve doors, windows and relevant room boundaries; do not stretch a room to fit the frame.

Should every property photo be compressed to 100KB?
No. Start with the actual destination limit and preserve useful detail. An arbitrary small target can damage textures and distant features without solving a real upload problem.
