Frequently Asked Questions

The OCR engine detects row and column structure first, then emits real <table>, <thead>, <tbody>, <tr>, <th> and <td> elements that work in every browser, email client and CMS. No CSS hacks, no flexbox tables, no nested <div> grids — just clean HTML5 that validates and is screen-reader accessible out of the box.

features

Yes. Paste into the WordPress HTML block, Webflow embed, Wix HTML element or Shopify Liquid template and the table renders immediately. The markup is dependency-free — no JavaScript, no external CSS — so it survives copy-paste between editors and theme switches without breaking.

usage

Yes. Tags are balanced and properly nested, attribute values are double-quoted, and HTML5 doctype assumptions are honoured. Run the output through the W3C validator and it passes. ARIA roles can be added manually for richer accessibility on data-heavy tables that need screen-reader announcements.

technical

By default the output is unstyled so it picks up your existing site theme. Optional flags add Bootstrap (class="table table-striped"), Tailwind utility classes, or basic inline styles for email-safe rendering. Add scope="col" on header cells for accessibility — the tool emits these automatically for detected header rows.

technical

Yes — for layout reference and personal study. The output reconstructs the table structure, but always make sure you have the right to republish content from another site. The tool is most commonly used to migrate your own legacy PDFs and screenshots back into a modern CMS, not to scrape protected content.

usage

Uploads are auto-deleted within minutes, never used to train models, and the HTML output carries no watermark, attribution or tracking pixel. That makes the tool safe for commercial sites — agencies, freelancers and in-house teams use it to ship landing pages, comparison tables and documentation without licensing concerns.

privacy

Yes — drop a PNG, JPG or screenshot and the OCR rebuilds the text, tables and lists as clean semantic HTML you can copy or download. It extracts the content structure (real <table>, headings, lists), not the visual CSS design, so it is ideal for moving text and data tables into a CMS, email or blog post.

usage

Open the Engine setting in the side panel and pick Default for general screenshots, or switch to Engine 1 or Engine 2 if the table headers or stylised fonts in your image aren't being read correctly. After changing it, click Re-run extraction to regenerate the HTML with the new engine.

features

Yes. Use the Language picker in Settings to match the script in your screenshot — this matters for non-English UI text, accented characters and mixed-language documentation pages. The dropdown only lists languages supported by the currently selected engine, so it updates automatically if you switch engines.

usage

Yes — the output view shows an editable textarea with the raw HTML on one side and a live rendered preview on the other, updating as you type. Fix a misread cell, tweak a tag, or add a class, and the preview reflects your change instantly before you copy or download the .html file.

features

Use Engine 2 for stylised or antialiased UI fonts, set the Language picker to match the screenshot's text, then check the live preview pane — if a row or column still looks merged, edit the HTML directly in the textarea before downloading.
