It is a head cutout: the face and, with Include hair on, the hair. The cut follows the outline of the head, but the edge near the neck can be uneven, so review it before you download. Clothes and shoulders are not part of the head selection.

The face detector could not find a sharp, unobstructed face in the upload. Choose a sharper portrait where the face is large and not covered by hands or objects. If a face is found but cannot be cut out reliably, the tool asks for a clearer portrait instead.

Download the PNG, then open Image Overlay, upload the background picture and add the cutout as the overlay. Move and resize it, and adjust opacity or blending. The transparent surroundings let the new background show through, so no further masking is needed.
