The format is not one this tool accepts, so check the list shown on the upload panel. Or the file is not really the format its name says: renaming a file does not change what is inside it, and that is the reason a valid-looking image gets refused.

Upload it like any other photo, if the screenshot has a clear main subject, such as a face, an object or a cartoon character. The cutout separates that subject from the rest, so a screenshot full of buttons and text may need cropping first. Check the preview before you download.

This tool cuts out a subject and adds an outline and shadow; it is not an action figure image generator and does not build toy figures. The Photo Effects hub has an Action-Figure Packaging effect that renders a subject as a molded figure in a blank, unbranded blister package.

The outline follows the edge of the cutout, so it matches the subject rather than a geometric shape. For a heart, star, circle or other shape, use Crop by Shape or Circle Crop on the picture instead; Crop by Shape downloads a transparent PNG.

Keep the default Transparent PNG under Format in the Effects tab, set the outline and select Create sticker. The PNG keeps its transparent edges, so it can sit on any color in iMessage, a design or a print. Choose the WebP only when the sticker is for WhatsApp or Telegram.
