Word count per sentence and sentences per paragraph are randomised within natural ranges, so each generation produces a different block. The vocabulary is drawn from the traditional Lorem Ipsum word pool to keep the look that designers expect.

Lorem Ipsum has a normal distribution of letters, so the eye reads it as text without being distracted by meaning. That lets stakeholders focus on typography, spacing and layout rather than getting pulled into copy review during early design rounds.

Nothing coherent — it is scrambled Latin loosely derived from Cicero's 45 BC text 'de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum'. The words are deliberately garbled so they carry no real meaning, which is exactly why they work as neutral placeholder: readers see the shape of text without being pulled into reading it.

For a webpage mockup, set Unit to Paragraphs, pick a count of 3-6, and enable "Wrap in <p> tags" so the output pastes straight into HTML with no manual markup. For a button, chip or short UI label, switch Unit to Words and set the count to 2-5 — leave "Start with Lorem ipsum..." off for short word counts since it forces the same recognizable opening phrase into a tiny label.

The Count slider runs from 1 to 100 for whichever Unit you have selected, so you can generate up to 100 paragraphs, 100 sentences or 100 words in a single pass. If a layout needs more than that, hit Regenerate to produce another block and combine the copies, or generate at the paragraph level for the largest blocks of text.

HTML paragraph wrapping only makes sense when the output is actual paragraphs, since each block becomes its own <p> element — so the toggle only appears when Unit is set to Paragraphs. Switching to Sentences or Words always returns plain, unwrapped text, which is what you want for a button label, list item or inline copy rather than a block-level HTML element.
