Frequently asked questions
- How should I photograph a bundle for counting?
- Shoot the ends straight-on, close enough that each end is at least a few pixels across, with even light and no strong shadows inside the bundle. Use the dots to review each retained detection, then correct misses or duplicates before using the total.
- Does it work for PVC, steel and concrete pipes?
- It can estimate PVC, steel and concrete pipe ends when their circular cross-sections are clear. Mixed diameters and touching or shadowed ends are harder, so review and correct the markers before using the tally.
- What if the photo has more than just pipes in it?
- Your marked examples tell the counter exactly what to count. Drag a tight box around one complete, clearly visible pipes — up to 3 examples for different-looking kinds — and only matching items are counted. Similar-looking distractors can still affect the result, so review every marker before using the total.
- Can I count several photos into one total?
- Yes — count each photo with its own marked examples, and add every result to the tally sheet as a labelled row. A marked example belongs to the photo it was drawn on, so mark each photo as you go. Export the tally as CSV or a PDF report, or save it to your account.
