Almost always one of three things. The file is over the 20 MB free upload limit — Premium takes 50 MB and Pro 120 MB. The format is not one this tool accepts, so check the list shown on the upload panel. Or the file is not really the format its name says: renaming a file does not change what is inside it, and that is the reason a valid-looking image gets refused.

It marks bottles that are visible in the photo, so stock standing behind the front row is not included. Count the visible bottles, then multiply by the shelf depth yourself if the depth is uniform, and record the result as an estimate.

Open the door and photograph the shelf directly. Glass adds reflections of lights and the room, and each reflection can pick up an extra dot. If you must shoot through the glass, stand square to it, switch off nearby lights and check for dots that sit on reflections.

For cans or other stock, use the general Object Counter or Inventory Counter and enter the item name. This page counts bottles automatically. Review every result marker before recording the total.

Count them as you count stock: spread the empties into one layer on a tray or table, or photograph the crates from above, then add each result to the tally with a label such as Returns. Compare the total with your return slip.
