Frequently asked questions
- How high should the drone or camera be?
- High enough that the whole area fits in one frame, low enough that each item is still a clear shape — a few dozen pixels across is a good target. Keep the camera pointing straight down and the light even, then review every marker before using the total. Two passes only compare with each other if the height and angle match.
- Can it count cars across a whole car park?
- It marks the vehicles it can see from above, so one overhead frame covers one visible level. Trees, canopies and decked levels hide cars underneath them. Shoot each level or section separately, review the markers, and add each one as its own tally row.
- What if the photo has more than just vehicles in it?
- Your marked examples tell the counter exactly what to count. Drag a tight box around one complete, clearly visible vehicles — up to 3 examples for different-looking kinds — and only matching items are counted. Similar-looking distractors can still affect the result, so review every marker before using the total.
- Can I count several photos into one total?
- Yes — count each photo with its own marked examples, and add every result to the tally sheet as a labelled row. A marked example belongs to the photo it was drawn on, so mark each photo as you go. Export the tally as CSV or a PDF report, or save it to your account.
- Is it free and private?
- Yes. You can count, review and download a free result without an account. Downloads are free without a watermark. No signup required. Server-processed photos are encrypted in transit and removed under our Security policy.
