No. The export is a single PNG image that shows the before and after side by side, split at the position you set. There is no MP4 or animated GIF export, so for social posts share the PNG or capture the slider yourself.

The side-by-side comparison preview happens in your browser, but exporting the composite uploads both images to our secure server so the final file can be rendered; they are removed under our Security policy and never shared or used to train models. For strictly confidential material where no upload is acceptable, capture a screenshot of the on-screen preview instead of using Export.

Move it toward one side if you want more of a specific image visible in the exported composite, for example 70 to emphasize the "after" result.

Click the Swap button in the Compare panel to instantly exchange the before and after images without re-uploading — handy if you dropped them in the wrong order or want to flip the reveal direction for a different visual effect.

For a full-room renovation, Vertical orientation at a 50% split works well since it lets viewers compare top-to-bottom detail like flooring and ceiling changes. For side-by-side furniture or color changes, Horizontal orientation at a 40–60% split (favoring whichever image has the more striking result) tends to draw the eye most effectively.

Almost always one of three things. The file is over the 20 MB free upload limit — Premium takes 50 MB and Pro 120 MB. The format is not one this tool accepts, so check the list shown on the upload panel. Or the file is not really the format its name says: renaming a file does not change what is inside it, and that is the reason a valid-looking image gets refused.

Check the input first: a sharp, well-lit original that has not been through a messaging app gives the best result. Then review the settings on the page, change one at a time and run it again — nothing is locked in until you download.

See result saves one flat PNG with the split fixed where you set it and a thin divider between the two sides, so it cannot be dragged or embedded as an interactive slider. Set Orientation and Split % the way you want it to read before you export, or use GIF Maker for a looping before-and-after.

The preview scales the Before image to fill the frame of the After image, which can trim its edges when the two have different proportions. The exported PNG keeps both pictures whole, scaled to fit and centered on a white canvas, so check that file for the true layout.
