The converter uses the sheet's Page Setup if defined (paper size, orientation, scaling). If it is unset, default page settings apply and a wide table is not scaled to fit, so it can split across several pages. For best results, set Page Setup explicitly in Excel before exporting.

The PDF shows each cell's displayed value, not its formula, and the number format decides how it appears. A cell formatted to show two decimals prints two decimals even if the stored value has more. Change the number format in the workbook and convert again.
