Frequently Asked Questions

Pick a certificate template, edit the recipient name, course title, date and signatory, optionally upload a logo and signature image, then download a print-ready PDF or PNG. Use it for online course completion, employee recognition, training awards and webinar attendance.

usage

Yes. Upload a CSV with name, email, course and date columns, map them to the template fields and the generator produces one PDF per row — perfect for graduating cohorts of 50, 200 or 1,000 students at once.

features

Defaults are US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) landscape for North America and A4 (210 × 297 mm) landscape for the rest of the world, both at 300 DPI with a bleed and safe-area margin matching commercial print shops.

technical

Yes. Templates cover course completion, appreciation, achievement, employee of the month, attendance, training, internship and academic awards — each with editable colors, borders, seals and ribbons.

features

Yes. Upload PNG or SVG logos for sharp scaling, drop a transparent PNG signature or draw one with the mouse, and place a gold or silver foil-style seal. The layout snaps elements onto the safe area so nothing clips during printing.

features

Yes. CSV uploads are processed in temporary memory and deleted within 24 hours — unless you explicitly share a result, which keeps it at a public link anyone who has it can open for up to 30 days; we never use student data to train models or share it with third parties. Certificates download as plain PDFs with no tracking pixels or analytics.

privacy

Yes. The certificate title is a free-text field, so you can change the default "Certificate of Completion" to "Certificate of Appreciation", "Certificate of Achievement", "Certificate of Participation" or any wording you need, then edit the recipient name, body text and signatories to match.

usage

Classic uses a cream background with a double border and serif title for a traditional academic diploma feel. Modern uses a white background with bold accent-color bars across the top and bottom and a heavy sans-serif title for a contemporary, corporate look. Minimal strips it down to a single thin border and a small-caps title on plain white for an understated, editorial style.

features

Open the Style tab and use the Accent color swatch — pick from 8 ready-made presets like indigo, emerald, amber and rose, or enter any custom hex value. The chosen color recolors the border, title text and underline across whichever template you've selected, updating live in the preview before you generate the PDF.

features

For a formal graduation or academic award, use the Classic template with a gold or amber accent color to echo a traditional diploma. For a corporate training or onboarding completion certificate, use the Modern template with a brand blue or indigo accent, which feels less academic and closer to a company-branded document.

tips

Yes. Beyond the main Certificate title, two more text fields control the surrounding copy: Presented to text (default "This certificate is proudly presented to") sits right before the recipient's name, and For completion text (default "For the successful completion of") sits right before the Description / achievement field. Rewrite either one — for example to "In recognition of" or "For outstanding contribution to" — to match an appreciation or achievement award instead of a completion certificate.

features

For employee recognition, set the Certificate title to something like "Certificate of Recognition", change For completion text to "In recognition of", and use the Description field for the specific achievement. For webinar attendance, use "Certificate of Attendance" as the title, keep For completion text as "For attending", and put the webinar name and date in the Description field. Both pair well with the Modern template's bold accent-color bars for a contemporary look.

tips

Yes — the Date field is a standalone date picker, separate from the Description and signatory fields, and it only defaults to today's date as a starting point. Pick any past or future date to match when the course, event or training actually took place, which is useful when you're generating the certificate days or weeks after the fact, and it renders as a formatted line (e.g. "March 4, 2026") across all three templates.

features

Use the two independent signatory blocks in the Signatories tab: each one is a Signatory name field paired with a Signatory role field (for example "Dr. Maria Chen" / "Program Director" and "James Patel" / "Founder"), and both render side by side as signature lines at the bottom of the certificate. There's no logo, seal or drawn/uploaded signature image — just type each person's name and title and they appear in the same clean typography as the rest of the document.

features

Yes — build and preview the certificate before signup. Pick a template, fill in the details, then create a free account to download the landscape A4 PDF. The certificate renders as real vector text and the temporary file is auto-deleted.

pricing

Yes — Pixoate supports batch and bulk processing. Switch to Batch mode, paste up to 60 recipients on Premium or 200 on Pro, set your options once, and every recipient is processed with the same settings before you download a single ZIP. Bulk processing is a Premium feature; the output uses the same quality and settings as single mode.

features

Yes — with bulk processing you configure the settings a single time and they apply to every item in the batch — up to 60 recipients on Premium or 200 on Pro. There is no need to repeat the setup per item, and Temporary uploaded and generated files are processed securely and deleted automatically.
