How it works

Lenticular Depth Print creates a static, lossless two-view simulation from server-estimated relative depth and a semantic foreground mask. A 3 × 3 median filter removes isolated depth speckles, then every model-detected subject pixel plus a narrow anti-bleed boundary is source-locked. Only model-cleared opaque background can move. The two views alternate in exact 1-pixel vertical columns; each view samples one coherent full-RGB coordinate bilinearly. Intensity scales the real two-view geometry through per-view displacement instead of opacity-crossfading completed scenes, with full-strength travel capped at the smaller of 1% of the short side or 10 pixels. Displacement fades to zero at the frame border, and samples are rejected when they cross a depth discontinuity, protected subject boundary, or transparency. Working-frame alpha stays byte-exact and the result is a lossless PNG. This is one flat interlaced image, not an animation and not a print-ready lenticular master.

Best for

single clearly separated subjects against textured backgrounds, retro depth graphics, packaging mockups, collectible-card concepts, and novelty poster previews.

Less suited to: groups, fine hair, transparent edges, glass, mirrors, reflections, overlaps, flat scenes, readable background text, and images where estimated relative depth or subject detection is uncertain; physical printing also requires printer- and lens-sheet-specific calibration.

    Can it duplicate or distort my face, arms, or body?
    Every model-detected subject pixel and its anti-bleed boundary is copied from the same source coordinate, and any background sample that touches the protected region is rejected. The renderer does not generate or reshape anatomy. Relative-depth or segmentation errors can still miss fine hair, glass, reflections, transparent edges, or difficult overlaps, so use one clearly separated subject.
    Can I animate or print the downloaded result directly?
    No. The PNG is a static two-view simulation with alternating 1-pixel columns. It does not animate in a browser, and a physical lenticular master must be recalculated for the intended DPI, lens LPI, pitch, phase, slant, number of views, and viewing calibration before specialist printing.
