Sofa Visualizer
Generative output can vary; review the full result before publishing
A sofa is the largest thing most people buy for a room and the easiest to get wrong — one size up and the room stops working, one size down and it looks lost. This direction places a sofa into a photo of your living room with believable proportion and a contact shadow on the real floor, so the decision is made against your space rather than a showroom.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I know if a sofa is too big for my room?
- Measure first, then visualise. Leave roughly 75–90cm for walkways around it and check it does not block a door swing or a radiator. The visual tells you how it feels in the space; the tape measure tells you whether it physically works. Both matter, and the tape measure is not optional.
- Should the sofa go against the wall or float?
- In smaller rooms, against the longest uninterrupted wall almost always. Floating works when there is genuine space behind it and something to define the back — a console or a rug edge. Try both in the visualiser; the difference in how open the room reads is usually obvious.
- Can I see different fabrics on the same sofa?
- You can generate variations to compare tone and how light or dark reads in your room. Do not treat the result as an accurate fabric sample — weave, texture and true color need physical swatches, which most retailers will send free.
- Why does the sofa sometimes look like it is floating?
- The contact shadow where it meets the floor is missing or too faint. That shadow is what makes furniture sit in a room. If a result looks pasted in, regenerate rather than accepting it — the eye reads a missing floor shadow immediately even when it cannot name the problem.
