Deck Visualizer
Generative output can vary; review the full result before publishing
A deck changes how the back of a house is used more than almost anything else you can build for the money, and it is the hardest thing to judge from a plan drawing. Drop in a photo of the back of the property and see the platform, the railing and the steps in place against the real elevation and the real garden.

Frequently asked questions
- Can it show a raised deck with steps?
- It can show the platform, the railing and a step run in place, at a height that reads correctly against the doors and windows behind it. Structure below the deck is illustrative: posts, beams, footings and how they meet the ground come from a designer, not from a picture.
- Will composite decking look like the board I chose?
- It gets the tone and the board direction close enough to compare options side by side, and no further. Composite boards vary by range and by batch, and the grain print differs between manufacturers, so pick the final board from a real sample in daylight.
- Is this a deck plan?
- No. It is the sales picture that comes before a plan. Joist spans, ledger fixing, footing depth, guard height and permit requirements are engineering decisions, and every one of them is decided by a designer or an inspector rather than by the visualization.
- What photo works best?
- Stand far enough back that the whole rear elevation and the ground in front of it are in frame, shoot in even light rather than hard midday sun, and keep the camera roughly level. A photo taken from the exact spot the client always looks from is worth more than a technically better one from somewhere else.
