Camera RAW
Unprocessed sensor files from DSLR & mirrorless cameras.
How it works
- Pick your source format above, or open the universal converter and drop any file.
- We decode it on our server, handling camera RAW, HEIC/HEIF, PSD and EPS alike.
- On a converter page, choose any output in the Settings tab — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, BMP, ICO, PDF — then download. Files are deleted automatically.
Convert HEIC, camera RAW, PSD and other image formats to JPG, PNG or PDF
This image converter opens the formats that browsers and many apps cannot: iPhone HEIC, camera RAW such as CR2, NEF and DNG, Photoshop PSD and EPS files. Choose the format you have in the grid, upload the file, pick an output such as JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or PDF and download it. Decoding happens on our servers, so no desktop software is needed.
Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG, PNG or PDF
HEIC is the default photo format on modern iPhones, and many Windows apps, email clients and upload forms cannot open it. Convert HEIC to JPG for the widest compatibility, or choose PNG when you want a lossless copy for editing, and combine HEIC photos into one PDF when you need a single document. The converter reads each photo's orientation, so shots taken sideways come out upright.
Open camera RAW files such as CR2, NEF, ARW and DNG
RAW files hold unprocessed sensor data, and most browsers cannot show them. Each common RAW format has its own page, such as CR2 to JPG and NEF to JPG, and every one also offers PNG output. DNG and ARW files follow the same steps with DNG to JPG and ARW to JPG. JPG gives a smaller file, while PNG keeps more tonal detail at a much larger size. Keep the RAW original if you may want to adjust exposure or white balance later.
Convert Photoshop PSD, EPS and other pro formats
PSD to PNG turns a Photoshop file into one flat picture you can share, so layers are not kept. Documents such as EPS, PostScript, XPS and Publisher files can become a PDF that keeps every page and its text, for example EPS to PDF. Pick the output that matches how the file will be used.
Pick the right output format
JPG gives the smallest file for photos, PNG is lossless and supports transparency, WebP and AVIF are modern formats with smaller files, GIF suits simple graphics, TIFF suits print and archives, BMP is uncompressed, ICO makes website icons and PDF wraps a picture in a one-page document. For a file with no page of its own, use the universal converter.
Pictures saved from the web often arrive as WebP or AVIF, so convert WebP to JPG or AVIF to JPG when an editor or upload form refuses them, and pack an image into an ICO file for a website icon. For PDF, Word and Excel conversions, see the file converters hub.
Before you convert
- Keep the original. JPG output is lossy, and RAW and PSD files hold more than any export.
- Browsers cannot preview most of these formats, so the picture appears after conversion.
- An animated GIF becomes a still image when converted to JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF.
- Converting several files in one run is a Premium feature.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I open a HEIC file on Windows?
- Convert it to JPG, which Windows and most apps open. Upload the HEIC photo to the converter and download the JPG. Renaming the extension to .jpg does not convert the file.
- Can I convert RAW photos to JPG without installing photo software?
- Yes. Choose your camera's RAW format, upload the file and download a JPG or PNG. Decoding runs on the server, so you need no desktop software or codec.
- Does converting RAW to JPG lose quality?
- JPG is a lossy format with less tonal range than a RAW file, so some information is discarded. Use PNG when you want to keep more tone, and keep the RAW original if you may edit the photo again.
- Which output formats can I convert to?
- The converter pages offer JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, BMP, ICO and PDF. Some sources, such as camera RAW, have dedicated pages for JPG and PNG, and the Settings tab still lists the other outputs.
- Can I convert a PSD file to JPG?
- Yes. Photoshop PSD files convert to JPG, PNG, WebP and other picture formats. The output is a single flat image, so layers are not kept.
- Can I convert many photos at once?
- Converting a whole set in one run is a Premium feature, delivered as a ZIP. A single file converts and downloads without creating an account.
